    Give Hear is a reduced-fee, sliding scale hearing center providing hearing services to uninsured and under-insured men, women and children. One of the primary goals of the organization is to help get hearing aids for qualified patients living in Northeast Indiana.

    The Speech and Hearing Resource Center operated by Hear Indiana has a sliding-fee scale for hearing aids and offers a robust FM loaner bank with the latest Phonak Roger technology. Hear Indiana accepts all major insurance coverage, including Medicaid.

    The Indiana Assistive Technology Act (INDATA) Project is designed to increase access and awareness of assistive technology. One of the core services of this project is device loan. In additional to loaner equipment, INDATA provides low-interest extended rate financial loans to qualified individuals through the

    Alternative Financing Program (AFP). AFP loans are for assistive technology devices including hearing aids.

    The Lions of Indiana operate a Hearing Aid Loaner Bank under the control of the Indiana Lions Speech and Hearing, Inc. The hearing aids are normally loaned for a period of up to six months while the financial resources are found to obtain a custom-fitted permanent hearing aid.

    Katie’s Hear to Help is dedicated to helping children regain the ability to hear. Katie’s Hear to Help purchases hearing aids for children of families who otherwise would not be able to afford them.

    Psi Iota Xi

    Psi Iota Xi is a network of friends dedicated to helping others with time, money and love and meeting needs whether cultural, educational, social or financial. Every chapter is different since every community’s needs are different, but all support speech and hearing causes. Please contact your local chapter to request financial support.

    Sertoma (Service to Mankind)

    Sertoma has a mission of improving the quality of life today for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss through education and support. Please contact your local club to request financial assistance.

    United Healthcare Children’s Foundation

    The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their family’s commercial health insurance plan. Awards can be used to cover hearing aids or other assistive technology.
